We flew into Adelaide airport in the morning, and after picking up our car, we headed straight for Glenelg.
We then drove onto Hallet Cove and visited the Conservation Park.
After reviewing the weather forecast for the next coming days, today seemed to be the better, so we headed off early towards the Fleurieu Peninsula, Port Elliot being our first stop.
Then onto Victor Harbor and a wonderful walk along the causeway and around Granite Island.
It was then onto Cape Jervis. The only view we had of Kangaroo Island was under a shower of rain!
On the way back to Adelaide, we stopped off at Rapid Bay....
....and Second Valley.
Time to do some wine tasting! We headed up to the Barossa Valley region via Gawler.
Semaphore Beach on the way home. Managed to capture this beautiful scene as I was sand blasted and sprayed with salt water! It was freezing.....but well worth the effort!
Our last full day. The morning was spent in the historic German town of Hahndorf, then more wine tasting in the McLaren Vale wine region in the afternoon
